The Lark fleet at Waldringfield Sailing Club was established in the mid 1980's and has remained one of the club's strongest fleets throughout. We are also one of the largest and most competitive Lark fleets in the country.
The Lark is the fastest of the adopted classes at Waldringfield, and being a glass-fibre construction is relatively easy to maintain.
The Lark fleet prides itself on being friendly and welcomes sailors of all abilities to come along and join us. We currently have a club-owned Lark that can be borrowed by anyone interested in trying a Lark, which is a great way to get started.
Alternatively newcomers may like to try crewing for an established helmsman and this is often a good way into the fleet.
